Following Beijing’s Central Axis, listed as a World Heritage site, you will enter the deep palaces and gardens of the Forbidden City—we’ve selected 12 hidden routes (regular tours only visit 6-8 sites). The guide will not only interpret architectural secrets but also lead you to smell the ink fragrance in Qianlong’s study and search for pearls and hairpins in Empress Dowager Cixi’s chambers, awakening the memories of the Ming and Qing dynasties over a two-hour stroll.
