Your guide will provide you with a special “ferry ticket” to board a public ferry alongside locals, crossing the Huangpu River toward Pudong—the economic engine of Shanghai.

Finally, take the world’s fastest elevator to the top of the Shanghai Tower. Standing at the summit of Shanghai, a sweeping panoramic view of the entire city will unfold before your eyes.

After lunch, take the highspeed train to Hangzhou. Your local Hangzhou guide will meet you at Hangzhou East Railway Station.

Then, rest at a tea farmer’s home, learn the authentic way to brew Longjing tea, and savor a cup of spring’s delicate fragrance.

At noon, dine in a teathemed restaurant and sample dishes that incorporate tea into Hangzhou cuisine, experiencing how Longjing tea blends into the city’s everyday culinary aesthetic.

In the afternoon, take a leisure stroll along West Lake and admire its “sparkling water under clear skies.” Then, board a handrowed boat and glide across the lake. As the oars dip gently into the water, listen to your guide share historical legends and literary anecdotes behind the lakeside sights.

Later, visit a centuryold traditional Chinese pharmacy. Here you can identify various authentic medicinal herbs, observe the traditional process of filling a prescription by an experienced pharmacist, and taste a cup of seasonal herbal wellness tea.

After breakfast at your hotel, set off on a journey that blends cultural immersion with a relaxing boat ride in the enchanting Nanxun Water Town.

Among Jiangnan water towns, Nanxun stands out for its authentic and unique cultural character. Here, you'll find less commercial hustle and more living atmosphere and historical depth.

We’ll take a handrowed wooden boat to visit the former residence of Zhang Shiming, a legendary tycoon of the late Qing dynasty. Experience the fusion of Chinese and Western architectural styles and glimpse the rise and fall of a wealthy family across a century.

On the tranquil waterways, a traditional watertown wedding performance will unfold before you, showcasing the complete rituals of a local wedding ceremony. If you wish, you can even dress in festive attire and take part as the “bride” or “groom,” immersing yourself in the joyous celebration of a Jiangnan wedding.

In the afternoon, as this Jiangnan dream draws to a close, we will arrange a private transfer to Shanghai Pudong Airport (or the railway station), where we’ll wave goodbye.
